The use of myrrh as a wound salve is mentioned in the Smith and Embers papyri from Egyptian writings dated to c. 1550 BCE. In 1370 BC, Pharoah Amenophis IV, husband of Nefertiti, received a request from Milkili, one of his military lieutenants serving in Palestine saying, “And let the King, my Lord, send troops to his servants, and let the King, my Lord, send myrrh for medicine.” It was said that he refused to fight until the physicians with his troops had enough supply of myrrh to treat all the wounds that would be suffered in the battle.

COMPOSITION

ORGANIC CALENDULA FLOWER EXTRACT*
Forms a protective layer on the skin and reduces existing scar tissue. Boosts the skin's natural biological defence. Activates wound healing and collagen production.

DEMETER BIODYNAMIC OLIVE OIL**
Stimulates new cell growth. Guards against free radical damage. Maintains moisture balance and elasticity.

WILDCRAFTED MYRRH RESIN EXTRACT*^
Antiseptic properties. Fades cars. Facilitates speedy wound healing.

ORGANIC VANILLA FRUIT EXTRACT*
Helps with reducing skin infections and supporting wound healing. Stimulates cell regeneration. Protects from environmental stressors.

SKIN TYPE

Newborns to adults. 

RITUAL

Apply 1-2 drops to wounds to prevent scarring, to existing scars to reduce scar tissue, and to burns a few times daily. Massage in lightly and take care not to disturb new scar tissue. Use on active acne breakouts a few times daily and overnight. Repeat daily.

First harvest, unripe Olives yield a beautifully nutrient oil with spectacularly high phenolic content, which stabilises and naturally preserves not only our extracts but also our skin.
