This is the third composition in our Lockdown-conceived KAIROS TIME CAPSULE: In 2020 and 2021, Christo made natural wine with Brendon Carto, from Carto Wines, macerated moonshine bottles of Gentian bitters, and crafted wild beer with our friend Tim using our Kangaroo Valley spring water. Johanna sun-infused their leftover plant matter into biodynamic Olive oil, until the extracts sang of warm, boozy Summer days spent with friends who’ve all had to change their lives in those 2 years.

SUMMER WINE is a collection of the good 2020 moments we seized and the beautiful things we did. Time stood still and it opened a world of beauty.

Presented in patented UV light filtering Miron glass with recycled paper labels, and/or hand-applied 100% natural resin wax seal. Stitched by Christo into recycled black paper sleeves.

RITUAL

Use in the morning and again after sun exposure. Can be used at night as an intensive restore serum. Mix or alternate with any KAIROS composition.

FRAGRANCE PROFILE

A pitcher or Summer fruit-infused Sangria, a glass of aromatic natural wine with a subtle nose of barnyard funk. Layers of raisin, summer fruit, herbaceous lift, a hint of cinnamon, strawberry and faint vanilla – it's there and then it's gone, drunk deeply by the skin of your face.

ABOUT WHOLE PLANT EXTRACTS

All our extracts are made by sun-infusing whole plant material into early harvest virgin cold pressed biodynamic Olive oil. First harvest, unripe Olives yield a beautifully nutrient oil with spectacularly high phenolic content, which stabilises and naturally preserves not only our extracts but also our skin.

In this ancient method of bioactive botanical extraction, we co-infuse all the compositions botanicals together, so they commune and synergise, enhancing each other's potency and bioavailablity.

Each plant component has a specific purpose that is intrinsically linked to other compounds. There is massive evidence now that synergistic whole plant extracts are much more powerful than isolated, single components.
