Close to the Lepaar founders heart, they had wanted to work with milk for so long but were no fan of cows milk, sheep milk has a very funky smell, and freshly powdered goats milk is just impossible to get hold of in this country.

Then she came across Australian camel milk one day. Camel milk has a nutrient profile far superior to any other milk around. Over the past few years, a few visionary farmers have started domesticating the herds to get them off the land - the large wild herds roaming the Australian outback, causing terrible damage to the fragile native eco system.

Used in skincare, the natural Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs), immunoglobulins, vitamins and minerals unique to Camel milk deeply penetrate the skin to repair oxidative damage, facilitate healing of inflammatory conditions and enhance collagen production. And it smells amazing!

Paired with a synergistic mix of sun-infused botanical extracts, Peruvian Jojoba Oil, Sumac Wax to bring you a rejuvenating face balm, composed to gently exfoliate, deeply hydrate and visibly refine the skin overnight. FRAGRANCE PROFILE

(Lepaar Founders and Owners) Christo said it smells like being back in the Omani desert, drinking milky Karak tea – not too sweet, with a lingering Vanilla spice and a dance of Frankincense. As for Johanna - ‘Something alpine, herbacous coming through and a faint note of the violet/licorice hued Iris root. Something  that reminds me of my childhood, something that's imprinted in my DNA, a balsam that comforts my soul and heals my heart. I feel safe’.

ABOUT WHOLE PLANT EXTRACTS

All our extracts are made by sun-infusing whole plant material into early harvest virgin cold pressed biodynamic Olive oil. First harvest, unripe Olives yield a beautifully nutrient oil with spectacularly high phenolic content, which stabilises and naturally preserves not only our extracts but also our skin.

In this ancient method of bioactive botanical extraction, we co-infuse all the compositions botanicals together, so they commune and synergise, enhancing each other's potency and bioavailablity.

Each plant component has a specific purpose that is intrinsically linked to other compounds. There is massive evidence now that synergistic whole plant extracts are much more powerful than isolated, single components.
